Research 100th Milestone

100th FDA approved cancer therapy

Southern Cancer Center is part of one of the largest community-based research networks in the world, through US Oncology Research. This group specializes in Phase I–IV oncology clinical trials and we join them in celebrating a significant milestone of exceeding 100 FDA-approved cancer therapies. This achievement is a result of more than 160 research locations conducting over 1,600 clinical trials for cancer therapy. More than 80,000 participants have enrolled in clinical trials through US Oncology Research since 1999.

Through this relationship, Southern Cancer Center is proud to provide our community access to leading-edge and innovative clinical trials, with the comfort and convenience of staying close to home.
