After she obtained her bachelor’s in Biology, she went on to receive her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Barry University in St. Petersburg, FL in 2011. Her and husband then moved to the Chicago area for him to finish medical school. Harmony worked in Urgent Care and the Emergency Room during that time. Her husband’s training then took them back to the St. Petersburg/Tampa area in 2014 and she worked at Moffitt Cancer Center with the Blood and Marrow Transplant/Clinical Immunology team.
One of the most rewarding aspects of practicing as a hematology and oncology PA is working closely with patients and their caregivers to understand their disease, treatment plan and empowering them to manage their symptoms. Every patient is special, and it is a privilege to be a part of a team that is dedicated to ensuring the best possible outcomes for them.
After the birth of their 1st daughter, they re-located back to Huntsville, AL to be near their families. Harmony joined Southern Cancer Center of Huntsville in 2019 and her husband practices family medicine locally. They enjoy being outdoors whenever possible with their two daughters and traveling.
