Dr. Jeffrey George is a board‑certified medical oncologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and diseases of the blood. He completed his medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UAB Hospital. Dr. George went on to complete his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at UAB Hospital, where he received advanced training in cancer care and systemic therapies.

Since joining Southern Cancer Center in 2007, Dr. George has been dedicated to providing patient‑centered, evidence‑based oncology care. His clinical practice focuses on delivering comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

Outside of medicine, Dr. George enjoys Alabama football, golf, boating, and cooking. He values time spent with his wife and children and is active in a variety of family and outdoor activities.
