Southern Cancer Center is featured during a monthly segment called “The Doctor Is In” on local news station WKRG’s noon broadcast. Our physicians answer questions from viewers and talk about hot topics in the field of oncology and cancer care. On Friday, August 24th, Dr. Reece Jones and guest, radiation oncologist Dr. Adam Huddleston, spoke about prostate cancer and the importance of regular screenings. 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime, but this disease is almost 99% curable if caught early before cancer leaves the prostate.
