A Woman’s 17-Year Battle With Breast Cancer

On October 10th, local news station WKRG dedicated an entire day to breast cancer awareness with personal stories from breast cancer patients and survivors in each of their news broadcasts. Southern Cancer Center was honored to have our patients featured in these interviews, telling their stories about their own individual journeys.

Watch Mrs. Lynn Rone share her story and speak on behalf of all women living with Metastatic Breast Cancer. Being a “survivor” doesn’t only apply to those cancer free. Thousands of women are surviving and living with this disease every day.
